Sobre os Mumford and Sons (e o respectivo Best Album at the Brits): "I think it’s alright but they were fucking ashamed about winning and that’s the fucking sad bit. 'Oh, we shouldn’t be here!' Then what did you join a fucking band for then? They bow their heads down going, 'Oh, we don’t deserve it' like a fucking dick. What’s that about? You must have seen it before so don’t pretend like you’ve just come out of a cider apple factory."
Sobre os Radiohead: "I heard that fucking Radiohead record and I just go, 'What?!' I like to think that what we do, we do fucking well. Them writing a song about a fucking tree? Give me a fucking break! A thousand year old tree? Go fuck yourself! You’d have thought he’d have written a song about a modern tree or one that was planted last week. You know what I mean?"
Sobre o Noel: "But to get it sorted for what? He wants to go on his own and make his own fucking music and be the man and let everyone know that he can fucking flush the toilet without the band or that he can pour his own fucking tea and that’s fine. I haven’t got time for that fucking bollocks in my life."
And so on. Aconselho!
Já os Beady Eye, que são praticamente os Oasis da década de 2000 sem o Noel ("We went back to the hotel [after Noel walked out] and sat around drinking beer and we were there! The band members of Beady Eye were there so it didn’t take much of a leap to go, 'Let’s do something.'") lançaram o primeiro álbum (que ainda não ouvi) na semana passada.
Aqui fica um dos singles:
