Aí começa uma letra genial a juntar-se à batida vibrante. Puro êxtase para quem ouve isto na plateia. Essa sensação só irá ser experimentada mais uma vez, por uns "poucos" sortudos que vão estar no Madison Square Garden dia 2 de Abril, conforme anunciado pela banda em Fevereiro.

Depois disso acabou-se. Os LCD terminam uma quase-década de enorme sucesso em grande, mas podemos continuar a entrar em delírio...

Em Setembro começo uma nova etapa da minha vida, o tempo vai escassear, as noitadas a trabalhar vão se acumular, o fim de semana vai passar a correr entre as noites de Sexta e Sábado e a ressaca de Domingo e o tempo para estar com os amigos vai ganhar outra importância.

E cada vez que ouço estas palavras não deixo de pensar nisso, nas decisões que vou ter de tomar e no que fiz até hoje. Não sei se é exactamente isso que o James Murphy quer transmitir com estas palavras, mas é assim que elas entram na minha cabeça.

"Boa gente da Terra, os LCD Soundsystem vão dar o último concerto de sempre no Madison Square Garden a 2 de Abril. Vamos reformar-nos disto. Vamos embora. Andar para a frente". Pode-se ler no site desta grande banda.




Hoje foi possível ouvir 30 segundo (!) do primeiro single (Under Cover of Darkness) do novo álbum dos Strokes, Angels. Ouvi-o hoje de manhã mas a "música" já foi tirada do Youtube por causa de direitos de autor. Mais vale esperar que saia o single de qualquer maneira...
